About Andrew

I would characterize myself as compassionate, sociable, and imaginative. Working with children is deeply fulfilling for me, as I find joy in contributing to their growth and development. As a third-year nursing student with aspirations to become a pediatric nurse, I aim to leverage my current experiences to nurture and care for children. I value flexibility, trust, and open communication in a job, and as a babysitter, I prioritize punctuality, reliability, and responsibility while building trust with both children and parents. My journey with childcare began in high school, where I cared for my baby cousins and expanded to include children of family friends. Outside of care giving, I enjoy playing musical instruments like the piano, hiking, and experimenting with new recipes. Caring for others has always been my passion, driving my choice of nursing as a profession. With a background in providing support and care, I possess skills in safety, patience, and effective communication.
