Ashley has been a full-time nanny with us since January of 2020, and was a sitter for us prior to that for three years. Our boys are now 3 & 6. She is very active and does an incredible job of getting the kids outside for adventures around the Bay Area - Theo and Walter have developed a love of nature (hiking, biking, you name it) as a result. She also proactively helped both of our boys with school prep by setting aside time for age-appropriate learning activities (letters, writing, math, etc). She values and teaches politeness and kindness (in fact she just published two children's books about these things) and always has a very positive and calm demeanor even when the kids are bouncing off the walls. On top of all that, she is ALWAYS helping out with house chores. My kitchen, sheets, and laundry have never been so consistently clean, which is a miracle for a family of four with two working parents. She has done many overnights which has been incredibly helpful for us to get away for work trips or personal weekends. We have not used her for organizational work but she is open to and very capable of helping with calendars, errands, and other administrative/house management. The fact that each of her positions have lasted multiple years is a testament to her ability to fit in with and support a family.
