About Theresa

I have numerous skills and experiences of relevance to this position. I am patient and empathetic, and can quickly and appropriately respond in high intensity situations. I am a leader and able to accept complex responsibility. In addition, I possess dual language fluency. I have grown tremendously from my undergraduate studies in both Psychology and Spanish, my work with families in the U. S. and Chile, my employment as a teacher at the high school and university level in Chile, and my travel experiences. I thrive in an active environment that presents challenges. I believe that this job will provide numerous opportunities for me to flourish creatively. I have excellent communication skills and know that I excel at human interaction. I have the ability to build trusting and stable relationships, which is very important for adolescents. I am experienced and capable in my communications with children, families and colleagues. I recently returned to the United States and attended Johns Hopkins School of Nursing. I will become a licensed registered nurse within a couple of months. The more time I spend with children and families, the more I learn and grow towards my personal goals for the future.
