I am a SAHM of 2 children. For the last 5 1/2 years I have taken care of children out of my home. I spent 10 years as a teacher, teaching elementary up to high school aged children with & without special needs. My degrees are in Education, Special Education, Child Development & a Masters in Deaf Education. I left the education world to stay home with my children. I love being able to utilize the skills I've acquired & raise them but also enjoy having them learn & play with their peers. I'm sure many of you can relate. I have created a curriculum that is both caregiver-less & child-led. I am very confident in my ability to advance your child's speech development & will plan daily activities to foster learning. It's important to me to get outdoors and keep children active. I am fluent in ASL & would expose your child to the language to help foster language development. My rate is $22-$30/hour based off different options. My home & vehicle are set up to care for additional children.

Andrea exceeds my expectations every single time she cares for my infant, which has been as often as twice a week. Unlike other childcare providers, she is always one step ahead--asking questions I haven't even thought of, like leaving my carseat with her in case of emergencies. She's experienced with food allergies and other unique needs a child might have. She's patient, big-hearted, and unflustered. Andrea comes up with interesting activities and sending lots of photos throughout the day. Simply, she's the best.
