I have been a stay-at-home and a homeschooling mom for 14 years. Before that, I worked at hospitals as an RN. My kids are ages 10-19, with the oldest in college at Texas A&M University. I am looking for work while my husband is between contracts. I have taught at our church's VBS for 7 years, taught Sunday School for 5 years, and I substitute teach at our church's day school during the school year. I am CPR certified. I am currently babysitting for a family in our neighborhood, but that will end when the school year starts. I am looking to make money to help my family out, and I would love a part-time babysitting job during the hours of 8am-2:30 p.m. I love to read to kids and to play educational and fun games with them. I have always enjoyed helping kids learn to read and learn other skills, whether academic or household chores. I would charge $16 per hour for one child, and the rate would increase $1 per child after that.
