About Amy

As the oldest of five kids, I have been babysitting ever since I can remember. I loved the Babysitters Club books growing up. My experience ranges from nannying for a 3-month-old to providing a supervisory presence for two young teens during parent weekend getaways and everything in between. I also volunteered with the kindergarten and first grader girls at my church for several years. I took a few years off of childcare to work on my education and professional pursuits but I miss spending time with kids. I'd describe my personality as positive, kind, and dependable. I like working with kids because you get to be a part of their discovery of the world and who they are in it. They also tend to provide a lot of laughs. In my spare time, I like to go to the gym, read, dance, spend time outdoors, travel or check out local cultural events or ethnic restaurants. One thing you should know about me is I work full-time but I work remotely so I have some flexibility in my schedule.
