Hello my name is Amy and I'm 46. I have 5 children but only 2 left at home. The empty nest begins I was a nanny for 6 + years and took care of children, yes aside from ALL of mine ;) but as I'm getting older they are getting faster. I have always wanted to work with the elderly and have been working as a caregiver since March of this year. The company I worked for was great I've learned a lot but the pay is just not enough for what we do so, here I am. I realized I liked the interaction with another adult and feeling like I was doing some good. I love hearing all the life stories and just seeing that I am making a difference in someone's life..
