About Amy

I am a recently retired, emergency preparedness professional. I would like to bring my strengths in youth instruction and dedication to family to a childcare position. I'd describe my personality as creative, passionate and joyful. I like working with kids because I can contribute to their growth and development in a positive way. I'm looking for a job where I can help children reach their greatest potential. For the past 20 years, I implemented emergency preparedness programs for schools and vulnerable communities. In my spare time, I like to garden, work on my paper crafting, bake, spend time with my dogs, family and childhood friends. One thing you should know about me is I have excellent communication skills. I like planning an exciting day of projects and healthy, fun routines which encourage a child's enthusiasm and self-confidence to the point where they can develop skills to do practically anything for themselves.
