About Amy
Hello! My name is Amy and I recently graduated from Colby College majoring in Biochemistry, on the premed track. I am currently working towards completing a two year internship at the Jackson Labs as I prepare for and apply for medical school. At Jackson labs, I study leukemia and aging. I am originally from upstate NY near the Adirondacks, and I love hiking and biking and any outdoor activity. As for my experience with the elderly, I have shadowed multiple physicians that care for elder patients. Additionally, I have visited both my grandma and grandpa multiple times to help care for them and lift their spirits as they age. I am a very caring person and I am interested in improving the quality of life for everyone as much as I can.
