I'd describe my personality as thoughtful, patient, and intuitive. I like tutoring because I like getting to know each student's strengths and areas of growth so I can plan interesting lessons that will help them learn and gain confidence. I'm looking for a job that allows me to tutor elementary student's math concepts and skills in person through meaningful games and practice. I started tutoring when I was in graduate school. I am a certified elementary classroom teacher and math specialist. In my spare time, I like to read, garden, and be outside. One thing you should know about me is I have lots of experience teaching students and I still enjoy it! My skills include mathematical concept development, skills practice, and creating a program that fits the learner.
