About Amy

I have over 13 years childcare experience, both personally and professionally. I began babysitting at a young age and continued to do so throughout high school and college. I am also a certified occupational therapy assistant with 5 years of pediatric experience, which provides me with a deep understanding of how to best entertain, support, and nurture the children in my care. I recently returned from a year in Guatemala, where I coordinated services at a hospital for infants and young children with malnutrition. I have a great deal of experience providing safe, attentive care for multiple infants and toddlers at a time, and am very comfortable and confident caring for children with common childhood illnesses (colds, flu, fevers, stomach "bugs," etc). I treat all children in my care with the love, attention, and nurturing I would give to my own (I absolutely adore children, but have none!). I really do enjoy and cherish the little ones I care for and take pride in providing the type of care that parents can feel good about.
