About Amber

Hello, my name is Amber and I worked as an aide in healthcare for 10 years. I'm very grateful for the time I've spent being a caregiver and am now a mum to a happy little girl that was born in January of this year. Ideally I am looking for a position that is open to me being able to care for my little one alongside the client. We've been blessed with an easy enough baby that I feel with my experience this would be achievable and enriching to all parties involved. My time in healthcare was spent primarily in long term settings; nursing homes with memory care units and group homes. I've had the privilege of providing hospice care and opportunities to work with people of all ages, needs, and functioning levels, including those with ATBIs, special needs, Alzheimers and other forms of dementia. I find the most essential and rewarding aspect of my job to be building trusting relationships and learning the best route of individualized care to promote comfort, growth and quality of life.
