About Amanda

I am a certified occupational therapy assistant who has worked with the pediatric population for 15 years. I have worked in various settings including private and public schools, inpatient acute care, and outpatient occupational therapy. I love working on handwriting with children and truly believe in a multi-sensory approach to learning. I have been trained in programs including Handwriting Without Tears and Size Matters. I am also a trained Interactive Metronome Specialist and have had great success utilizing this program in conjunction with writing. I work not only on teaching letter formation but also overall legibility which includes size, spacing and placement. I enjoy teaching cursive as well. I can work on these skills within your home or online as well. Our sessions can be 45 minutes to over an hour dependent upon needs. Please feel free to reach out with any questions. I am an open book.
