About Amanda

I'd describe my personality as caring, compassionate and hardworking. I like working with kids because helping children and their families is the most rewarding job I can think of! I have fun and the children teach me just as much as I teach them. I'm looking for a job that is long term. I started working with kids when I was 18 years old! I have been an educator for over 20 years. I currently work in a3-year-old classroom but my center is downsizing and I am looking for a change! In my spare time, I like to spend time with my husband and our three dogs. I enjoy being outdoors. I like to fish and spend time by the water. I enjoy spending as much time as I can with my nieces and nephews! Family is so important. One thing you should know about me is I have worked with children of ally ages! Babies from 6 weeks until about 12 years old. In December, I received my Associates Degree in Early Care Education. My skills include problem solving, creativity and compassion.
