About Amanda

Hi families! My name is Amanda and I am currently a stay at home mom to a fun and silly 19-month-old daughter. For the last 5 years, I have been working as a Registered Nurse but have decided to take some time away to spend more time with my daughter and help other families looking for care. Prior to my career as a nurse, I had over 8 years of experience in childcare to include infant care, infant triplet care, mixed aged families, and children with autism and special needs. I follow a Montessori based learning model with my own little one as well as conscious parenting/discipline and enjoy lots of sensory play, outside time, and play based learning. I am currently looking for positions that will allow me to bring my daughter along with me to provide socialization and fun for all the kiddos. As a parent myself, I know how hard it can be to find care that aligns with your values and checks all your boxes- I'd truly love to be that safe, reliable, and engaging space for your little(s).
