About Amanda

I have attained my Master's Degree from Molloy College in Elementary Education/Special Education/English Major/Education Birth-6th Grade. I have worked closely with children for 10+ years teaching in schools and daycares both public and private. I also offer tutoring and homework help for a variety of subjects after school, on weekends, and/or over the summer. I am American Red Cross certified as well as certified in the Early Childhood Education and Training Program by the New York State Office of Children and Family Services. I am experienced working with children who are gifted, learning disabled, and those who have emotional/behavioral issues. I value the importance of education and believe that learning should be fun. I work with my students to empower them with confidence (socially and academically) and help them to build new strategies, especially in areas in which they struggle. My passion for making a positive difference is unwavering.
