About Amanda

Hello! My name is Amanda, I am a chiropractic student. I am very friendly, patient, and responsible. I have not formally worked as an adult caregiver before, but I do have experience in the field. My grandparents lived with me since I was around 10 years old. During their time in my home I helped my mom take care of them; my grandfather was diabetic and my grandmother had Alzheimer's disease, so I am familiar with dementia and the empathy and patience needed with that. I was also a lifeguard for 10 years and spent a lot of time interacting with adults with physical and cognitive disabilities. I enjoy providing companionship to people and can help with errands, meal prep, and medications.
