About Amanda

Hello, my name is Amanda! I am a first-grade teacher who is extending my services this summer! I have a B. S. in Primary Education Pre-Kindergarten through 5th grade from Miami University. Previously I have been a lead teacher in the 3 to 4-year-old classroom for a Goddard School. I was employed during my school breaks and have had experiences in every room from infant to preschool. I completed my student teaching experience in a second grade gifted classroom and had field experiences in kindergarten and first grade as well. I interned at a daycare in a 5 to 6-year-old classroom while studying abroad in Luxembourg. I have recently renewed my CPR and First Aid training and received certification December 2022. I enjoy being active and helping children grow academically and social emotionally through hands on play. Please message me if you have any questions!
