I have been a home health aide for the past 8 years. I first worked at an agency for 4 years taking care of two patients inside of their homes. As a home health aide I helped with toileting, bathing, dressing, feeding, transferring and hygiene. This job requires a lot of patience, time management, organizational skills and common medical knowledge. After I worked for the home health care agency I was hospice aide for a patient who had terminal cancer. I was her caretaker from April 2021 when I started till September 2021 when she passed. My duties included wound care, bathing and dressing, personal care, hep with toileting and incontinence care, tube feeding, tube changing, help with transfers, administrating medication, cleaning, laundry & transportation. Fast forward to January 2022 I started with a wonderful family in Seven Hills for a in home health aide that I currently do part time work for still.

First off, I just wanted to start off by saying how absolutely wonderful Amanda is. I hired her when I was in absolute need for someone. I had to go on a work trip so I needed someone to come in and help my mom throughout the day while I was gone. My mother is hard to please but Amanda definitely wowed her with how great she was! She helped my mother with everything she needed and then some. My mother keeps asking me "when can we get Amanda back here" we loved her!!!
