I originally had planned on hiring Amanda to do overnights for my 94 yo mother with dementia. In preparation I had Amanda come and stay with my Mom on several afternoons while my husband and I went out for lunch/dinner. Amanda was very good with my Mom. I ended up deciding not to have someone working overnights. Amanda is someone I plan on using to stay with Mom if/when we need to get out a little bit. Due to her class schedule she could not do the hours I needed.
