About Amanda

I have worked with children for the past 14 years in positions of nannying, babysitting, children's gym instructor, and pre-k teacher. In addition to these roles, I also traveled with families and provided care while on vacations or work trips. The families I worked with have ranged from 1-4 children starting from infancy to pre-teen. I enjoy growing close bonds with both the children and parents as I find it important to be open, honest, communicative, and empathetic. During my time with children, I like to stay engaged. Some of my favorite activities are arts & crafts, being outside, taking trips to new parks or the library, music (dance parties), and even science experiments. As an organized individual, I enjoy helping with schedules, and additional housework, such as preparing meals or running errands. I have a can-do attitude; anything you ever need, I will be happy to provide assistance as I throughly enjoy organizing, cleaning, laundry, and pet sitting.
