About Amanda

I'd describe my personality as quiet, calm, nurturing. I like working with kids because I love watching their minds expand and giving them a safe, loving environment to be themselves in. I'm looking for a job that allows me to watch them at my house, as I have an in-home daycare. In my spare time, I like to color, read, cross-stitch, paint, and do puzzles. I am CPR/first-aid certified, safe sleep certified, will be trained in car seat safety soon, and experienced in baby-wearing, cloth diapering, and safely serving food to inexperienced eaters. I have an Associates degree in American Sign Language, and enjoy using that talent to help little ones communicate before they have the verbal skills to do so.
