I am a 27-year-old High School Math Teacher. I have 5 years experience teaching middle school level math and science, and have my Master's in Math Secondary education, as well as certifications in Math and Special Education. Rates: Childcare/Housekeeping: starting at $20/hour Tutoring: $1/min ($60/hour) I have had many years experience tutoring through high school and college in the field of math and science. In teaching math and science the past five years, I have developed my skills of teaching children so they come away with a transferable piece of knowledge than can be used for multiple problems and ideas within the concept. I do not simply walk students through problems, but help them develop the thinking strategies needed to solve on their own. This is done by strategic questioning and utilizing manipulatives to think about and use evidence to support their answer based on models and diagrams.
