About Alyssa

Hello! My name is Alyssa and I have 3 years of experience of working with children. I was a behavior technician for children with autism and other developmental differences ages 3 to 17, and now work as an after-school teacher at a local school. I have a bachelor's degree with a minor in child development and currently working on my master's in marriage and family therapy. I'm currently looking for a summer job while the new school year begins. I'm willing to do additional tasks as requested such as carpooling, going grocery shopping, and running errands. I love catering to children's interests and integrating them in planned activities. So far, the children I care for love crafting activities such as painting and fuse beads. All in all, I create a safe, fun environment and stress the importance of social-emotional wellness.
