Alyssa has regularly far exceeded our expectations as a caregiver for our Dad who had dementia. She's very loving, caring and patient which are traits which has allowed her to deliver excellent care to our Dad for more than two years. With our Dad being non-verbal, Alyssa was always very attentive to explain things to him and respond to his needs from his non-verbal cues. She treated our Dad with dignity and respect, and was soft-spoken and gentle in her care for him. Alyssa attended to all of our Dad's activities of daily living, including eating, hygiene, transport, dressing, etc.. Since our Dad also experienced a stroke, Alyssa helped him make progress on steps to regain some function of sore limbs and his swallow function. She coordinated well with physical and speech therapists. Alyssa was always at work promptly and never missed a day without planning in-advance. When our needs increased at different points in-time, Alyssa regularly accommodated the needs and shifted schedules or added-on time wherever possible. She's also very loyal and stayed with us through the very end of our Dad's illness and until he passed away. I'm happy to speak with you to share more about the excellent care and attention that Alyssa delivered at our household.
