About Alyssa

My name is Alyssa, and I have been working with children ranging from ages 4 all the way to 18 in the educational system, homebound, mental health system, privately as a nanny and learning coach as well as a tutor. I am a proud mother of three all of who are now adults ages 18, 20, and 26. I have a BS in Elementary Education which I received in 2003. In addition, I successfully obtained my teaching certificate in the Spring of 2006. I had begun working on a Master's Degree in Education with advance certification as a Reading Specialist in 2009 with completion of 24 credits. Unfortunately, I had to put on hold furthering my education. Over the past 3 years, I was afforded the opportunity to work with a lovely family both a nanny and the children's learning coach as they attended virtual online school. Unfortunately, the family is moving out of state, and my time with them has ended. I have a firm understanding of child development and many positive qualities to offer.
