My name is Alyssa and I am a 24-year-old. I am currently a third year nursing student and I coach competitive gymnastics. I began babysitting as soon as I received my babysitter certification at 13. Through childcare and coaching, I have experience with children of all ages. I tend to be a long term nanny, but I sent my twins (full time for two years) off to kindergarten this year. I love infants and am planing on specializing in labor and delivery after graduation. I have current certifications in: CPR for health care professionals, certified nurses aid (CNA), oral medication administration, and IV/injection medication administration. I also created and managed a special needs gymnastics program at my gym (elementary age), and plan on volunteering to coach our local Special Olympics this year. Previous long term special needs positions: Premature twins requiring O2 and heart monitors, 7 y. o. with Down syndrome, autism of all ages, and geriatric memory care patients.
