I'd describe my personality as joyful, loving, & empathetic. I like working with kids because I have a passion to help children grow & enjoy life. I started working with kids when I was in middle school. My neighbor had an au pair for their newborn and 3-year-old. I would come over to help out and play with the kids often. In my spare time, I like to read books, listen to music/podcasts, arts and crafts, hang out with friends, play with my dogs, exercise, & enjoy time in nature. I am currently a freshman at the University of Maryland pursuing a degree in Special Education. I will get a dual certification in special education & elementary education. My skills include engaging with kids of all ages, working with children with specific challenges or disabilities, & communication skills with parents & children. I joined Best Buddies in 6th grade, and continued in this club through high school. In 11th grade I was an officer for the club & in 12th grade I was the co-president.

Ally has babysat for my kids multiple times, and we couldn’t be happier with her! She’s always present and attentive—never distracted or on her phone. She’s fun, engaging, and truly connects with the kids. They always look forward to the time they get to spend with her. Highly recommend!
