About Allison

I've had the pleasure of working with children since I was a teenager and have experience as a babysitter, nanny, tutor, camp counselor, and learning center manager. I love that children don't take anything for granted and so often have a sense of wonder regarding the world around us. I try to encourage curiosity and creativity whenever possible and enjoy facilitating imaginative play, arts and crafts, and outdoor activities. I recently returned to the North Shore area from Ireland and am seeking full-time employment in my field (museums/archives), but in the meantime am hoping to provide support to families in need of childcare. In the short term, I have full-time availability, and I would be open to babysitting work on an as-needed basis in the longer term too. I have experience with babies, toddlers, school-aged children, and teens, including neurodiverse children and young people. I am confident driving with children, preparing basic meals, keeping tidy, and caring for pets.
