Hi Parents, My name is Allison and I interested in your nannying needs. I am passionate about working with children and assisting them through their educational journey. My experience working with children began when I was 16, and I have consistently been involved in mentoring, teaching, and nannying for the past 10yrs. I am currently pursuing a masters in school counseling at CSU and I have a bachelors of science in sociology from Montana State University. For the past three years I have worked in the school system as a Behavior Specialist Paraeducator and an AmeriCorps member. I am an avid runner, skier and outdoor enthusiast and I love to hike with my dog, Bailey. I love to be engaging with kids and ask them questions to help expand their understanding of the world. Allison is AMAZING. We've had several nannies over the years and Allison raised the bar on what we even knew was possible to expect. She quickly formed great relationships with our kids and always went the extra mile to learn more about them and what was happening in their lives. With our older kids (middle elementary) she found the perfect balance of taking care of them while also promoting independence/autonomy in their homework/chores etc. They LOVED her. For our younger son, 4 year old C, she created wonderful experiences every day for the two of them which they dubbed "C" time. We'd come home and learn about density experiments, "spy" nature walks, and other activities that made our son beam with pride and excitement. Allison also easily managed any additional favors we asked of her and made it all seem easy. If you have a chance to hire her, do it right away!
