About Alissa

I have past childcare experience, being a babysitter for 10 years for multiple different families & a volunteer for an after school program at a children's camp, where I assisted with homework help & all things creative! I have primarily worked with children between the ages of 1-10! I am also an actor here in New York City. I recently finished a national tour of Pete The Cat with TheaterWorks USA, which is actually my 4th children's national tour. I believe a child should be encouraged to start their artistic journey as young as they can. Art has helped me grow as a child and expressed what I couldn't say & if I could help a child see that in themselves, I would call that a win! One thing you should know about me is I bring my whole heart to the job. Whether that's bringing my own supplies from home to do crafts or playing their favorite video game with them, I am very observant to their likes and dislikes.
