I have experience working with individuals who have various mental and/or physical disabilities. For about a year, I worked as a direct care professional in a group home for adults. I helped several amazing individuals with their daily needs and learned a lot along the way! I also spent a summer with a teenager with different cognitive abilities to help her learn and enjoy summer. I also enjoy working with younger children, and have some babysitting experience with children of various ages. I spent some time at a daycare working with toddlers aged 2-3 which was another great experience! My background is in Psychology and Family Studies. Additionally, I have taken an infant development course, as well as an infant mental health course. I am CPR and first aid certified. I look forward to working with new people and continuing to help others experience life feeling fulfilled, comfortable, and happy.
