About Alexis

I have babysat for over 40 families for over 6 years! I also am a substitute teacher during the school year. I sub for grades pre k through 5th! I worked at Twin Oaks Day Camp for 3 summers. I currently am working my second summer at Merrick School Districts Summer Recreational Program. I like working with kids because they are all truly so special and I love to teach them as well as learn from them. I want to have a career working with kids -- I am currently leaning towards being a school psychologist! I am currently majoring in psychology at Binghamton University! My skills include patience! Working with so many different children over the years, I have learned that each child has different needs and being patient as well as learning their needs is crucial! Another skill I have is understanding. I also try to understand the children I am working with in order to bond with them. Lastly, I am very friendly and trustworthy.
