About Alexis

Hi families! My name is Alexis and I am 27 years old. I have been providing childcare for 11 years. I have worked in private childcare, preschools, elementary schools, and am now a School Social Worker at a middle school. While my priority is safety, relationship building, connection making, and having fun are what I am all about! I'd describe my personality as creative, outdoorsy, silly I like working with kids because they remind us all to slow down, have fun, and not take anything for granted. I'm looking for a job that is flexible and allows for easy communication. In my spare time, I like to bring my dog on hikes and do arts and crafts. Theatre used to be my main hobby back in the good ol' days:) One thing you should know is while I love to have fun exploring, creating, and being silly with the kiddos, I take my role as a childcare provider seriously. I encourage families to communicate all their needs and wants for their children so I can provide the best care possible.
