About Alexa

Alexa came into our lives during a particularly challenging year and period of development for our youngest child, a 9th grader, who was struggling academically and socially since the start of the pandemic and on-line learning. She had returned to in school and had seen a significant fall in her grades and self esteem. We knew Alexa was the perfect fit for our family as soon as we met. She took careful time to understand our needs and concerns and outline a plan for success. She was methodical in planning for each session and was genuinely interested in knowing our child, her interests and character. Most importantly, she met her where she was and helped her believe that she was capable of being a great student; that all challenges were opportunities, and to never give up. For the first time, she offered some space and relief to us, as parents, because we trusted her to take lead in the implementation of a new plan. We were kept “in the loop” weekly, as Alexa shared trackable results and goals. As a mom and teacher, myself, I enthusiastically recommend and support Alexa in all of her endeavors. I know that she will pour her heart, energy, and brilliance into all of her work and everyone she touches. We are forever thankful.
