I started my experience with children professionally at the age of 15. For a few years I was a summer camp counselor and then worked with preschool kids and older children on Saturday programs. From there I ran the entire 6-7-8-year-old program at a summer camp. I also worked year round for 2 years in college as an Aftercare Teacher where I helped children complete their homework and played an array of games until they went home for the day. I currently am getting board certified to become a substitute teacher in my town! I love children of all ages and have even recently gotten the chance to watch my Goddaughter a few days a week who was less than a year old at the time.
