About Alexandra

East coast native with a passion for children, nature, and growth. I have a long history working with children and families as a nanny, babysitter, teacher, swim instructor, and most recently as a college counselor. I find clear communication with families ensures seamless care for the children and that positive encouragement ensures strong, supportive relationships for caregiving. I have experience with children as young as 8 months, including twins, while also engaging with elementary aged children, middle schoolers, and teens. I have worked as a summer camp counselor for 2 years and spent two summers working in a preschool summer program. I'm great with pets and can swiftly adapt to fit family needs. I'm looking for opportunities that will allow me to continue supporting children and families while I explore my options in pursuing graduate school for mental health counseling.
