My name is Alexa, I have been a teacher for 10 years. I work for Boston Public Schools. I have my Elementary, Moderate Disabilities, and English as a Second Language licenses. I am also trained in Orton Gillingham. I taught Third Grade for over 6 years. This school year I am a kindergarten inclusion teacher, I will be looping with my class and teaching first grade this upcoming school year. I have experience working with students K-8th grade on IEPs. I specialize in early literacy skills and teaching students how to read, reading comprehension, fluency, math, phonics, and phonological awareness. I can also help with any summertime homework, assignments, or just getting your child ready for the upcoming school year.
