I have worked as an early childhood educator and early intervention provider for over 10 years. I am certified to teach in New York State, and have a very safe car. I really enjoy kids, the way they think and move through the world, and I've accumulated a fair amount of knowledge about them over the years. Families with whom I work generally find me to be fun, caring, and a good communicator. So why am I looking to do childcare? Well, I'm also a new mom. I have an 8-month-old, and have been working part-time since she was born. We've been drawing heavily on our savings account, and it is dwindling fast. So I am looking for some work doing childcare, either with my little one along (for a lower rate), or without her.
