I currently have a 3month old son who I care for full time, and in my youth starting at age 12 I was babysitting all my cousins who ranged from infant to 7+ at the time. I continued to babysit them through high school and into college. I have babysat children overnight, done drop offs and pickups, signed kids into school if needed, shown up for their sports games to watch and cheer them, helped them practice, help with their homework and school projects when needed, done household chores that needed to be done such as laundry and dishes. I do cook and play with the children and not just set them in front of the TV.
