About Afzal

Hi! I'm a scientist who loves to teach, play, cook, and learn. Before spontaneously pursuing chemistry in college, my focus in high school was actually in Early Childhood Education, and I interned as a preschool teacher for most of high school. Growing up, I spent a lot of time caring for my cousins and neighbors' kids, and I also played a major role in raising my premature, identical twin baby brothers in more recent years. Now that I'm grown up and don't live at home, I don't really get to be around kids much. I think kids are tons of fun and are sooo funny! I think my youth and huge love for teaching makes it really easy for me to connect with kids and meet them at their level. I enjoy teaching, playing, doing arts and crafts, and cleaning and cooking. Not only am I responsible, highly organized, trustworthy, and eager, but I'm kinda the king of helping with homework too (I was my college's valedictorian!). Getting to help your kid(s) and your family would make me super happy!
