I am a senior year nursing student with experience in basic personal care for the elderly as well as medical assistance. I have done rotations in long term care facilities and am comfortable with skills such as bathing, feeding, blood glucose checks, ambulatory assistance, medication administration, and much more. I've also been a nanny for the past two summers and am very capable of providing meals as well as doing light housekeeping. I love spending time with the elderly and getting to know their stories, and in my experience in the nursing homes that was the best part. I am also well aware of professional standards and do not drink, smoke, or use offensive language.
