About Abigail

I'd describe my personality as loving, fun, and attentive. I like working with kids because I enjoy getting to make them feel safe and build a meaningful bond. I started working with kids while I was in highschool, teaching swim. After I graduated I went straight into working at a preschool and found my calling as a caregiver. In my spare time, I like to read, write, play games, and go out with friends. My skills include soothing scared children, getting kids down for nap or bed in a reasonable time, and singing with the kids to help redirect them while keeping them smiling. I have my own transportation, can cook simple meals, and learn routines quickly. I am willing to help out with dogs but am allergic to cats and cannot sit in a house where they are present.
