About Abigail
During December of 2016, I volunteered to help out nursery school class at Mount Saint Mary Academy. Duties included helping the children with various projects/activities, aided Ms. D with dressing the children in snow gear for recess, and supervised the class during lunchtime and whenever Ms. D needed to leave the room for a minute to make copies and the like. I also babysat my two cousins for two separate summers (when they were 5 and 7, and 6 and 8, respectively), when I was 16 and 18 years old. I was at the house 5 times a week from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Primary duties were to play with them, monitor phone/tablet/TV usage, make them lunch and get them snacks when they wanted, do English (language arts) and math review with them, and clean up the house before their parents came home.

We love Abby! I have been working with Abby for several months now. She worked as a reading tutor and babysitter for my 6 year old. My 6 year old's reading needed a lot of work so she tutored my daughter and as a result, my daughter's reading skills vastly improved. My daughter's reading test scores in school shot way up because of her. Because of our school schedule this fall, we won't be able to use her for regular afterschool care but would definitely hire her for weekends and nights. She is great with kids and is responsive, very reliable and flexible.
