Hello families! I am Doula now booking clients seeking support during Labor & Birth, and/or Postpartum! While the role of a doula can look a little bit different for everyone, my #1 goal is to support mothers & families welcome their baby into the world. As a Doula, I will; Nourish the relationship between baby, parents, & siblings. Provide resources for families. Help you make informed decisions. Assist in lactation & infant breastfeeding. Screen for perinatal mental health disorders. Accompany parents & baby to doctors appointments, errands, & outings as needed. Advocate for and communicate your needs, wishes, & wants with anyone who needs to know (doctors, nurses, midwives, partner, family members). Encourage & empower your instincts & abilities as a parent. Make your home a more peaceful & relaxing environment during your postpartum period. Help you manage physical pain during labor, birth & postpartum. Assist in sibling integration.
