About Abby

I graduated from with a bachelor's in Kinesiology in 2017. Instead of going straight to grad school, I chose to do a year of service. For the following school year, I tutored and mentored middle school students in New Jersey. This experience was incredibly rewarding, and I still keep in touch with some of my students. Prior to graduation, I held positions at an in-home daycare in Southern Illinois, IUPUI Day Camps and at the local YMCA. I have worked with children as young as 8 months to 16 years old. The last two years, I have began working towards my career goals. I've worked as a rehabilitation aide in inpatient and outpatient clinics, gaining valuable hands on experience in the field of Occupational Therapy. Most recently I worked for a day program as a one-on-one instructor for adults with developmental disabilities.
