Hi! My name is Abby, I am 21 years old and am a senior at Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri. I am a licensed EMT and have a plethora of medical and childcare backgrounds. I have been providing Respite care at Childserve for 5 years. I have experience in working with 2-21-year-olds. I absolutely love working with younger children and I have experience making meals and putting children to bed. I work during the group respite weekends, so I am in charge of typically 3 children at a time. I also have 2 younger siblings and helped watch them, play with them, and I basically helped them grow. In addition, I occasionally babysit a 15-year-old with cerebral palsy and a 20-year-old with autism, 20-year-old twins with severe intellectual disability and severe epilepsy, and a 4-year-old with Autism.
