About Abbie

I graduated from Indiana University with a BS in Therapeutic Recreation. Since then I have worked as a CTRS with a variety of populations of all ages with cognitive and physical disabilities. Currently I am a stay at home of two (2yrs and 3yrs) and am providing care for one other child. I am looking to add another child (or sibling set) to our day. By only providing care for a small number of children I can give your family the personal attention of a nanny, on a babysitter budget. I provide all meals outside of bottles/baby food. I have personal experience with cloth diapers and breastfeeding and can support mothers who choose either. We keep a routine through the day with a balance of structured and free play activities. We have a large yard, and enjoy getting outside as much as the weather permits. We have a smoke free and pet free home. In the fall I will begin implementing an at home preschool curriculum with my 3 yr old.
