About Abbey

My name is Abbey and I'm currently a student at MSU studying elementary education! I'm going into my senior year next year and will be doing my student teaching in the East Lansing area, but am home for the summer. For the past four years, I've had the joy of supporting families and making a positive impact on children's lives through childcare. I am certified in First Aid Training and CPR Training, and have worked with kids in a childcare or coaching position for the past 7 years. My approach is creative and friendly. I enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, and educational games with children. I am comfortable caring for multiple children at a time and follow the parents' lead when enforcing household rules. I always communicate using the parents' preferred method. I'm also happy to assist with cooking, housekeeping, travel, and swimming supervision.
