About Aalayah
Hi, thank you for your consideration. When I was in high school I consistently was asked to stay after school with some of my peers to tutor them on subjects such as reading, writing, science, and history. I was a honors student that took a few AP courses. Now being in college I often find myself helping my peers for hours on topics that are a bit challenging. I have two younger brothers as well and I loved working with them and teaching them even more than what was provided in their curriculum. I am a strong believer in visual learning as well as interactive learning. I believe students retain vital information more when it is interactive. I learned everything I know about tutoring from my mom because she is a teacher. I hope I get more opportunities to share knowledge with younger, older, or same-age students. Unfortunately, in the time of COVID-19 parents are now forced to take on the teaching role and I would love to be of any assistance to those that need help! Thank You!
